Apps

Apps I built for my own projects and released for everyone. They run entirely in your browser — your files never leave your machine — and they're all open source.

The two big ones — both run entirely on your machine.

3D printing

Smaller helpers for everyday printing problems.

  • meshStep

Open STEP and STP files without installing CAD, check whether the geometry is watertight, and convert it to a print-ready STL.

  • First Layer Renderer

Drop in a G-code file and get a clean 2D render of its first layer as SVG or PNG. I built it for merch artwork — what will you use it for?

  • Model Spiralizer

Wrap a strip-like STL into a flat spiral and export it as a new STL. Set inner radius, pitch per turn and refinement.

  • Retraction Optimizer

Generates a test pattern that sweeps retraction distance and speed in a single print, so you can pick the setting with the least stringing and no gaps.

  • Gridfinity Label GeneratorBeta

Printable labels for your Gridfinity bins, with symbols for screws, nuts and inserts — plus ready-made ones for every CNC Kitchen fastener and insert.

Miscellaneous

It says Kitchen on the label, after all.

  • Dough Calculator

Scale a dough recipe to any number of portions and convert it for sourdough starter. Save your recipes and share them by link.
